Waiving Misch Not the Wisest of Moves
On the heels of another Oliver Perez disaster this afternoon, the Mets waived LHP Pat Misch, one of the few guys who has been able to get anyone out this spring.
Also am I the only one thinks Ryota Igarashi should not be in the opening day bullpen? That guys fastball is as straight as an arrow.
GMs Ranked By SI: Omar Checks In At 26 of 30
Tim Marchman of SI.com ranked the 30 General Managers in Baseball. Mets GM Omar Minaya checked in at 26 out of 30, beating out Dayton Moore, Brian Sabean, Ed Wade, and Ned Colleti.
Marlins GM Larry Beinfest checks in at #4, while Frank Wren, Ruben Amaro, and Mike Rizzo check in at 17, 19, and 23, making Minaya the lowest ranked GM in the majors
